Costa Mesa is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Costa Mesa follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Kanok Thai Bistro is officially my new go-to for Thai food! It’s perfectly located right here in Costa Mesa, and the restaurant boasts amazing decor with a wonderfully inviting ambiance. I ordered the Thai Sampler, the seafood fried rice, and the pineapple coconut curry with beef. Every single dish was absolutely delicious and bursting with vibrant, rich flavors. Highly recommend stopping by if you want a fantastic dining experience!

So I and my family love Thai food and we are always visiting a couple of our favorite Thai restaurants. I don't think we'll be visiting those restaurants anymore after visiting this one! Not only is the menu very very good. A lot of these Thai restaurants the menu is either in their language and then just a quick little snippet of what it might be in there in English but you're still kind of left thinking what is it! The menu is also laid out quite nicely as well. The amount of options is plentiful and more than anything the food was absolutely fantastic! The service was great. Between the two waiters that kept helping us we got laughs we got thank yous constantly asking if we needed anything else, refilling our Waters and our drinks etc. The only thing that we kind of had a little problem about was that it is a little loud in there I think probably due to the acoustics in the restaurant. So the more people in there the louder it gets the more you have to yell at the people at your table. Other than that though, I will be going back over and over and over again!

I came in with a friend on a Thursday afternoon for a party of just two. The restaurant at the time is busier than usual , no problem of course and we are seated pretty quickly. My friend and I are waiting for 1 hr to an hour 20 minutes wondering where the food is. I have to signal many times to the clueless waiters who are barely attending to my table. A different party who came in later is served before me with many dishes while we are still waiting a very long time. They do not give us any updates of our food at all. This place gave us terrible service and I do not recommend it. We simply ordered a fried rice and Thai noodles to be left with an unapologetic sorry. Go elsewhere
